Jeffery Daniels
Candidate, Hempstead Village Trustee
Jeffery Daniels is a lifelong Hempstead resident. He grew up walking to Marshall Elementary School, riding his bike down Nassau Parkway, and playing basketball for the Salvation Army. Jeff wants to resolve Hempstead’s financial, socio-economic, and infrastructure challenges. His business experience coupled with his knowledge of Hempstead will help deliver the quality of life that Village residents deserve.
Currently, Jeff is the National Director of Institutional Property Advisors’ (IPA) multifamily platform. In this role Jeff manages the firm’s business development, client relationships, sales and recruitment efforts. Prior to joining IPA, Jeff led AIG’s U.S. multifamily investments. During his 13-year tenure at AIG, Jeff invested and asset managed over $7 Billion of multifamily real estate spanning over 38,000 units in more than 20 states.
Jeff received a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from Hampton University and an MBA in business management from Bloomsburg University. He is on the Board of Directors of the National Multifamily Housing Council, is a Sustaining Member of the Urban Land Institute, a Member of the ULI Multifamily Green Council, and serves on the Boards of Friends Academy and the Community Development Corporation of Long Island.
A father of 3, Jeff is a member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. as well as a current member, and former trustee, of Union Baptist Church in Hempstead, NY,
